In the case of locally registered companies, the following documents are required:
i. An original or certified copy of a recent declaration or Memorandum and Articles of
Association from the Malta Financial Services Authority showing the list of directors and
company secretary. The Redirection of Postal Articles Form is to be signed by all the
directors or else by the company secretary who is authorised to act on behalf of the
company, or an original or certified copy of a resolution in writing signed by all the
directors of the company in terms of Regulation 66 of the First Schedule to the
Companies’ Act for the purpose of requesting redirection of postal articles and indicating
the person authorised to act on behalf of the Company pursuant to such resolution; and
ii. A certified copy of the identity card, back and front, of all the director/s and/or company
secretary and of the person authorised to act on behalf of the company in this regard; and
iii. Where an organisation administers a large number of companies which receives their mail
at the address of their organisation and such organisation is to move, the organisation may
request MaltaPost to facilitate its application process. Nevertheless, a redirection fee shall
be payable for every company.
All copies may be certified as a ‘true copy of original’ by the company secretary or by a notary or
advocate, who must indicate the date of signature
